The strawberry season is officially over for the 2013 season.   Thank you to everyone who ordered ready-picked berries and to those who came out an picked their own.   Hope to see you again next year!

The weekend rain certainly didn't help the last of the strawberries (or encourage picking), but we are planning to open for self-picking for probably the last time tonight (Monday), beginning at 5:30. It's end of the season picking, so be prepared to dig, but there are berries to be found if you still need some.

Wow! We had a great turnout for picking tonight so unfortunately we'll have to close down the fields to ripen for a few days.

We'll open again for self-picking on Friday evening, beginnning at 5:30 and then possibly Satuday morning if there are still berries left.

We are still filling limited ready-picked orders too.  If you're interested in that, call and leave a message.

It was a great day for self-picking today.  Not too hot and a breeze to keep away the bugs!  Thanks to all those that came out.

No picking tomorrow (Sunday), but we'll be open again on Monday evening beginning at 5:30.

Can't believe so many people showed up to pick on the hottest day of the year!  Guess they all knew that you gotta get those berries when they are ripe - and it won't be long before they are gone...

Next picking: Wednesday evening, beginning at 5:30

Then: Saturday morning, beginning at 8:00

Don't forget to bring your own containers to bring your berries home in.

Next self-picking:   Tuesday evening (July 16), beginning at 5:30 pm.

Finally finished picking berries for the Strawberry Festival -- now it's time to start filling orders and open for self-picking!  We are planning to open for self-picking on Sunday, July 14 @noon.  Or, if you'd like us to pick them for you, just give us a call.

Cooler weather has slowed the ripening again...  It's not looking like we'll be able to open for self-picking until the weekend or early next week, but we'll try to keep you posted.  If you're interested in ready-picked berries, give us a call and we'll get you on the list.

The warm weather is definitely helping the berries to ripen!  Depending on the weather, we are hoping to open for self-picking as early as Tuesday or Wednesday evening, but call or check back to be sure.   If you are interested in ready-picked berries, give us a call to place your order.

2013 Strawberry Season

This year the season is very late!  It's July already and we are yet to pick our first quart of berries.   We are hoping the warm Holiday weather will cause them to ripen over the weekend.

We have started a list for those of you who are interested in ordering ready-picked berries.  Give us a call to get on the list.  

Self-picking will probably have to wait until after Strawberry Festival (July 12th & 13th) because we'll need to pick as much as we can for that next week, but check back next week if you are looking to pick your own.
